360° protection system technology

Modello Quattro undergoes full reconstruction to accomodate the new antishock technology, transforming it into the ultimate tool watch, while still remaining a benchmark of reliability and utilitarian simplicity.
Thanks to the Seiko VH31 quartz movement that has been nested in the in-house designed 360° protection system and with its 300 m water resistance, the Modello Quattro tough combines the best of both dive and field watch attributes.

360° protection shell
Its custom construction, composed of a 360° protection shell that perfectly holds the movement and a dial top protective ring, allows the watch to withstand extreme environmental stress while still keeping it super light.
U.S. MIL-STD-810
U.S. MIL-STD-810, commonly referred to as MIL-STD-810, is a military standard that outlines a series of tests to evaluate the environmental durability and ruggedness of equipment. Developed by the United States Department of Defense, this standard is designed to ensure that equipment can withstand the harsh conditions it may encounter during its lifecycle, especially in military applications.

The 360° protection system is engineered to absorb strong shocks and vibrations that could otherwise be damaging to the movement of the watch.
Verifying the capability of the UT4 (Unit under test) to withstand the shock due to an accidental fall in an urban environment. The drop test was performed according to the parameters reported in the reference standard:
- Height – 1,22 m
- Impact surface – Industrial concrete
- Drops – 26 (one for each surface, corner and edge)
- Units under test – 5
After the impacts, all the 5 units under test were functioning. More thorough functional and integrity checks were performed, and no malfunctioning or damage was found in any of the units.
